Boston City Hall
Boston City hall is one of the most popular buildings in the city of Boston and it was designed for the municipal government office. Kallmann, Mckinnell and Knowles were the two talented architects who took the responsibility of designing the magnificent building. There are nine stories in the building but some people regard it as the ugliest building in Boston. Critics appreciated the construction and designing but people of Boston didn’t like the building. The shape of the building is just like the inverted pyramid and City hall Plaza is famous for the parades and rallies organized in the adjacent of the Boston City Hall.

- The architecture of the Boston City Hall was magnificent and it was the result of the architects who were selected from the national level contests. Kallmann, Mckinnell and Knowles won the competition were given the task of designing Boston City Hall.

- City hall is divided into three parts and four level departments were established. - In the year 2006 Mayor came up with the idea of selling the building and moving the municipal office to southern Boston. Recession in year 2008 shattered the hopes and plan was suspended for the movement of municipal corporation office to other region.
Boston City hall is still the center of Municipal Corporation of Boston.
