John Hancock Tower is still standing tall and there are many tales associated with the 241m edifice. John Hancock insurance companies were in charge of the spectacular building. I.M Pie and Henry N. Cobb are the architects who designed the floor plans of the building. The wonderful building was constructed in 1976 and there were many controversies related to the building. 60 stories designer who was Henry N. Cobb got the award for the excellent piece of architecture.

The observatory was opened for the tourists but it was closed due to security reasons after the attack of terrorists on world trade center. But still the building is popular among the tourists.
